LAS VEGAS, Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Sin City. The Entertainment Capital of the World, has been infected by Hollywood's latest Zombie flick: Resident Evil: Extinction! It has taken over Las Vegas' newest addition, Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. Sony Pictures and Screen Gems enlisted the expertise of SkyTag, the innovators of Tall Wall imaging to help produce two massive spectaculars that dominate the Las Vegas Strip.

This is the third installment in a series of film adaptations very loosely based on the popular Capcom survival horror game series Resident Evil. The film was directed by Russell Mulcahy and produced by Paul Anderson and stars Milla Jovovich as Alice. The film is set to be released in the United States and Canada on September 21, 2007.
