Crackhead Jesus Creates Hollywood Buzz

Crackhead Jesus Creates Hollywood Buzz

LOS ANGELES, Sept 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The South Florida story of "Crackhead Jesus" is causing a buzz in Hollywood, which may bring the modern day parable of redemption and false prophets, based on actual events, to the big screen. The story is being described as a literal cocktail mix of The Matrix Trilogy, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Fight Club, and The Bible. The internet release of the first in a seven book series has been delayed, due to attempts by the Boca Raton law firm of Conde and Cohen to hold author/artist Victor-Hugo Vaca Jr. in contempt, on what the author alleges are trumped up charges, in Case #50-2006-CC-016579.

Nicknamed "The Forest Gump of the Modern Art World" because of the chance encounters which have propelled his career, Victor-Hugo has caught the attention of Hollywood notables including HBO's Bill Maher, Andrew Dice Clay, and director/producer Alison Martino, with his bizarre story of the Crackhead Jesus Trials.

The Florida trials raise allegations of mafia style actions seeping into the U.S. Justice System. The book and movie will use humor, music and mixed media to expose dangerous irregularities afflicting the Judicial Branch of Government in the United States. The multi-media artist, Vaca, avoided censorship by using his artwork to document the existence of an alleged legal mafia in South Florida. The story of the Crackhead Jesus Trials has garnered international media attention.

"What do you do with a system so corrupt that it not only prevents concerned citizens from acting, but punishes them when they do?" Victor-Hugo asks, "It's not that nobody is doing anything to prevent injustice, it's that nothing can be done to curb corruption of the Constitution as long as an uncontrolled, interlocking system of power exists."

"Crackhead Jesus" is the true tale of a corporate CEO, who high on crack, tells his employees that he is the second coming of Jesus Christ. The strange series of events which follow were documented in the artist's surreal Salvador Dali-like paintings.

The trials born of the situation have exposed a litigation vortex which has the Florida Bar allegedly scrambling to hide the fact that they are lowering the standards of ethics and competence for attorneys in the death penalty state of Florida.
