Bucks County, Pa., Residents Gear Up to Celebrate Unveiling of 'My Home 2.0' Home-Technology Makeover Powered by Verizon FiOS
PHILADELPHIA - As part of the upcoming TV series "My Home 2.0," the home-technology makeover of the Kaczor family's Yardley, Pa., residence will be unveiled Saturday, Sept. 15, in an atmosphere filled with food, fun and prizes for the community. Three technology gurus overhauled the Kaczor home complete with the Verizon all-fiber network - and its cool FiOS Internet and video services - along with a host of high-end 2.0 technologies. While the gurus have been busily analyzing, designing and building, events at area grocery stores, gas stations and coffee shops have been creating a buzz for the Sept. 15 block-party kickoff.

BACKGROUND: Verizon announced on Sept. 5 an innovative television series, "My Home 2.0," that will show families, in a reality-TV format, how they can realize the full potential of technology to improve their lives. The Kaczors are the first of five Pennsylvania winners of a FiOS home-technology transformation that will be captured on the series. "My Home 2.0" will premiere this fall on network affiliates in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, as well as on Verizon FiOS Video-on-Demand.
