LA TIMES

"Absurdly rich with talent...Jollett's baritone could compete with some of the best in Britpop. Live, the group delivers total cohesion and unflappable energy." LA WEEKLY

"These California art-rockers have written the best arty-stomp since 'Take Me Out.'" THE FLY (UK)

"In a just and fair world, The Airborne Toxic Event would be indie rock favorites of critics and fans the world over. Maybe, just for a moment, the world will get it right for a change." POPMATTERS

"Catchy as hell rock that is as smart as its literary allusions." URB

"Reviews of their live show have been stellar, those who have seen it find it hard to believe they are a new band." INFLIGHT AT NIGHT

"It's the band's focused concoction of jagged guitars and airtight drumbeats that's infecting the greater Los Angeles area and soon the world." TOKION

"The Airborne Toxic Event's EP manages to accomplish in three songs what Interpol has failed to do in three albums." PREFIX MAGAZINE

"This is evil twee." NME

"The band seemed way too big for the Troubadour. I felt like I won some radio contest to see this big band play a small venue. That's a weird feeling to get from an unsigned band." FLOATING AWAY

"With this utterly fantastic debut, the Californians display a sharp ear for a mighty hook. The jagged, jarring riffage effortlessly lifts you onto the dancefloor. Wherever and whoever, its a terrific slab of plastic and the spangliest couple of minutes you'll spend this spring." SOUNDS XP (UK)

"They're like tears that taste good. Electric, endearing, eclectic and essential...this is THE hottest new band to burn up the music scene." CAMPUS CIRCLE
