NEW YORK, Aug. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Hey Nation! Stephen Colbert is auctioning off his cast for charity. Get ready to start placing your bids on the cast signed by New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Katie Couric, Bill O'Reilly, Nancy Pelosi, Tim Russert, Tony Snow and Brian Williams. The celebrity-signed cast (photo available upon request) will be posted on the eBay auction block after Thursday night's show on August 23 with bids being accepted through Monday, September 3. The winning bid will be announced on- air the week of September 10 at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Yellow Ribbon Fund.

In addition to the eBay auction, Colbert has created a red Wrist Strong bracelet. He first donned the Wrist Strong bracelet on the show on Monday, August 20. While there is only one cast to win, everyone in Colbert Nation can still be a Hero by purchasing Wrist Strong bracelets via www.colbertnation.com and www.comedycentral.com. Proceeds will also be donated to the Yellow Ribbon Fund.

The Yellow Ribbon Fund www.yellowribbonfund.org assists injured service members and their families while they recuperate at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center by offering housing, transportation, job mentoring and internships, as well as tickets to sporting and cultural events.

Repeat episodes air Monday-Thursday at 1:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 4:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. and Friday at 8:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (all times ET/PT). "The Colbert Report" airs regularly Monday-Thursday at 11:30 p.m. following "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart."
