A Split Personality Performer Gets a Big Break

A Split Personality Performer Gets a Big Break

NEW YORK, Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Depending on the time of day, New Jersey attorney Vincent A. Sicari will either bring a smile to your face or he will make you wish that you never left home. While such a response usually signals the end of any entertainer's career, for Vince it is the highest compliment he can be paid. That's because Vince August and Vincent A. Sicari, Esq. are two personalities that occupy the same body.

During the day, Vince is a successful practicing attorney with his own law practice in Ridgewood, New Jersey, but at night, Vince becomes the comic and screenwriter known as "Vince August." However, now that Vince's comedy shows are piquing the interest of industry insiders, he finds himself in uncharted waters, as the success of his entertainment career will most certainly trigger the end of his law practice.

In the past three months, Vince has been wowing audiences and building a loyal fan base on the East and West Coasts by performing at some of the nation's top comedy clubs. As a member of the S.A.G. and AFTRA, Vince has appeared in television commercials, soap operas and in Jamie Kennedy's upcoming film entitled "Heckler" which recently debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival. Vince's comedy is even drawing fans from the Internet, as his "ComedyLawyer" Channel on You Tube is one of the most subscribed and viewed Comedian Channels available. One fan he met along the way just happens to be Dan Fauci, Paramount's former Senior Vice President of Television Comedy Development. Now with Dan's help, Vince is working to adapt his comedy into a television network sitcom pilot.

With the impending success of his entertainment career, Vince is at a crossroads, as he recognizes that he cannot continue to lead two lives for much longer.

Vince's next headline comedy show will be at Carolines on Broadway in New York on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 9:30 p.m. Vince is also one of twenty comics competing in the second round of the Project Breakout Comedy Competition. This fall, Vince will also appear on the nationally syndicated show "Comics Unleashed."

Vince will be available for appearances and interviews in New York City from August 16 to 21, 2007. During that time, he will also be available for limited telephone interviews and call-in appearances.
