 MEMPHIS, Tenn., July 30 /PRNewswire/ --   WHAT:  IFC and Comcast are bringing the IFC Free Film Fest -- a state-of-          the-art, multimedia 10-city independent film tour to the Pink          Palace Museum in Memphis.  From Tuesday, July 31st -- Thursday,          August 2nd, IFC and Comcast are inviting local residents to enjoy a          fun and multifaceted, independent film experience.  Open to the          public at no cost, the tour will screen uncut indie films within a          high-tech outdoor mini-entertainment complex in ten total cities          across the country.           The event will also include:  a showcase of video shorts from local          Memphis filmmakers; an on-site collection of new and used DVDs          which will be donated to the pediatric unit at Baptist Memorial          Hospital; and a chance for attendees to win an HD camera.    DATE:  The Film Festival runs from July 31st -August 2nd.    TIME:  The event will kick off each night at 6:00 PM with a host of pre-          show activities, including an old-fashioned bouncing ball sing          along.  The films begin at sunset each night: Raising Arizona          (July 31), The Princess Bride (August 1), and Napoleon Dynamite          (August 2).    WHO:   Remarks will begin at approximately 7:40 PM (just prior to sunset)          on July 31 ONLY:           -- Craig Brewer, Award-Winning Filmmaker          -- Linn Sitler, Memphis & Shelby County Film Commissioner          -- Terry Kennedy, Vice President and GM, Comcast Memphis    WHERE: The Pink Palace Museum, located at 3050 Central Avenue; Security          will guide event goers to parking.
