IFC and ComCast Host Free Film Fest in Atlanta Tomorrow

  Uncut Versions of Indie Favorites Raising Arizona, The Princess Bride and   Napoleon Dynamite Featured on a State-Of-The Art Outdoor Video System  Event showcases local filmmakers and DVD collection to benefit Children's                   Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite  Atlanta City Councilmember, and Honorary Event Chairman Ceasar Mitchell to                            address event-goers      Comcast Hosts On-Site 'Dating On Demand' and drawing for HD Camera    WHAT:   IFC and Comcast are bringing the IFC Free Film Fest - a state-of-the-art,   multimedia 10-city independent film tour to Atlanta's Grant Park.  From   Tuesday, July 17 - Thursday, July 19, residents can enjoy a fun and   multifaceted, independent film experience.  Open to the public at no cost,   the tour will screen uncut indie films within a high-tech outdoor mini-   entertainment complex.    The event will also include: a showcase of video shorts from local Atlanta   filmmakers; an on-site collection of new and used DVDs which will be   donated to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite; and a chance   to win an HD camera.  In addition, on Tuesday, July 17, the first night of   the Film Fest, Comcast's Dating On Demand roving camera crew will   interview Atlanta singles who are looking for love.  The individuals must   be 18 years or older and will answer questions about best and worst dates,   favorite pick up lines and their craziest nights out in Atlanta.  The   segments will be posted under "Get Local" on the Comcast On Demand menu   two weeks following the festival.    DATE:    The Film Festival runs from July 17 - July 19.    TIME:    The event will kick off each night at 6:00 PM with a host of pre-            show activities, including an old-fashioned bouncing ball sing            along.  The films begin at sunset each night: Raising Arizona            (July 17), The Princess Bride (July 18), and Napoleon Dynamite            (July 19).
