American Airlines Helps New Yorkers Beat the Summer Sun

NEW YORK, July 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Airlines is helping beachgoers catch a break from the hot sun over the next two weekends by distributing large beach umbrellas at several of New York's and Long Island's most popular beaches in partnership with local radio stations.

American Airlines teams will be on the beaches handing out the umbrellas. The schedules, locations and radio stations are as follows:

   -- Saturday, July 21      - WADO at Coney Island, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.      - WRCN at Cupsogue Beach, Westhampton, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.    -- Sunday, July 22      - WCAA La Kalle at Orchard Beach, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.      - KJOY at Jones Beach Parking Lot 4, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.    -- Saturday, July 28      - WADO at Rockaway Park (between 96th and 116th Streets),        12 p.m. - 2 p.m.    -- Sunday, July 29      - WCAA La Kalle at Orchard Beach, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.    About American Airlines
