TV Land Rules the Road With Memorial Day Roadtrips

TV Land Celebrates Memorial Day With A Fourteen-Hour Marathon on Monday, May 28

NEW YORK, May 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Imagine the joy of a road trip without leaving the comfort of your own home -- no overheated cars, no flat tires and no getting ripped off at the pump. Beginning Monday, May 28 from 6:00am to 8:00pm (all times ET/PT), TV Land takes viewers on an excursion to cool and exotic places when the network presents Memorial Day Roadtrips, a fourteen- hour marathon of vacation episodes from the network's line-up, culminating with the hilarious pop culture hit movie, National Lampoon's Vacation. Join The Munsters for a frightful night of camping, the Ricardos and the Mertzes on their comedic cross-country journey to Hollywood, the Sanfords for some sun and surf in Hawaii and top off the day's adventures with The Griswolds at the famed Wally World Amusement Park.

The following is the schedule for Memorial Day Roadtrips (all times ET/PT):

6a Bonanza #142 - A Journey Remembered Ben looks back at his travels west with five year old Adam, Hoss and Hoss's mother Inger. In flashbacks, we see his journey to Ash Hollow where Hoss is born en route. They arrive in Ash Hollow only to be attacked by an Indian avenging the death of one of their braves. 7a The Munsters #16 - Grandpa's Call Of The Wild While on a camping trip, Grandpa turns himself into a wolf but forgets how to turn himself back. 7:30a The Munsters #56 - Heap Big Herman On vacation, Herman is mistaken for the spirit Wanitoba by a tribe of Indians. 8a Leave It To Beaver #52 - The Happy Weekend Ward takes the family camping for the weekend at Shadow Lake. The boys would rather stay home and watch the new movie "Jungle Fever", but Ward insists they will all have fun camping. Ward becomes upset with the boys when he learns that they left the campsite to go see the movie after all. 8:30a Leave It To Beaver #195 - Untogetherness Ward made reservations for the family vacation at their usual lakeside cabin. This year Wally doesn't want to go because he wants to stay with his girlfriend Lori Anne. He arranges to stay with Eddie so he can be closer to Lori Anne, but at the last minute, she tells him that she too has to go away with her family on vacation. 9a I Love Lucy #113 - Ethel's Home Town The Ricardos and the Mertzes stop at Ethel's hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Under the impression that Ethel, not Ricky, has been called to Hollywood by the movies, the townsfolk accord her a monumental ovation. Lucy takes matters into her own hands when Ethel refuses to disillusion them--and even goes so far as to put on a "celebrity act." 9:30a I Love Lucy #114 - LA At Last Arriving in Hollywood with stars in her eyes Lucy heads for a "The Brown Derby" frequented by celebrities where she encounters Eve Arden and William Holden. Her excitement at spotting Holden is surpassed only by her anxiety later when Ricky introduces her formally after she has presented Holden, inadvertently, with a custard pie in the face. 10a I Love Lucy #128 - Lucy Visits Grauman's With only a week left in Hollywood, Lucy weeps about her lack of souvenirs. Her collection already includes a tin can run over by Cary Grant's left rear tire, a napkin boasting Lana Turner's lip- prints and a few other goodies; but when Lucy discovers John Wayne's concrete block at Grauman's Chinese Theatre is loose she decides to take home a souvenir to end all souvenirs. 10:30a I Love Lucy #131 - Ricky Sells The Car Ricky sells the car and the Mertzes believe they are stranded in California. Ricky buys train tickets for everyone but a mix-up in reservations put Lucy in a comprising position with Fred Mertz. 11a Green Acres #91 - A Star Named Arnold Is Born pt. 1 After Arnold makes an appearance in the local community theater production, Lisa helps him get an interview with an old friend who is a Hollywood producer. 11:30a Green Acres #92 - A Star Named Arnold Is Born pt. 2 Oliver and Lisa chaperone Arnold's trip to Hollywood, where he lands a starring role in a motion picture. 12p Bonanza #142 - A Journey Remembered Ben looks back at his travels west with five year old Adam, Hoss and Hoss's mother Inger. In flashbacks, we see his journey to Ash Hollow where Hoss is born en route.
