Through 'Ogre-Vision' and Online, Shrek and the Energizer Bunny Put 'Far Far Away' Within Families' Sights

Energizer Partners with DreamWorks Animation to Extend Shrek the Third Experience Beyond the Theaters

ST. LOUIS, May 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Energizer Inc. (NYSE:ENR) plans for the excitement around DreamWorks Animation's Shrek the Third to keep going and going as Energizer kicks off co-branded promotions that include Ogre-Vision, kid-friendly online entertainment, and a sweepstakes to "Far Far Away". This is just the beginning of a multi-property program between Energizer and DreamWorks.

To mark the release of Shrek the Third, Energizer and DreamWorks have teamed up to offer Shrek fans and battery buyers a chance to win a trip to "Far Far Away" -- a fourteen-day cruise around the British Isles. The contest runs through August 1. In addition, marked packs of Energizer(R) MAX(R) include an "Ogre-Vision" viewer with five scenes from Shrek the Third. Shrek fans can enjoy additional adventures on Energizer.com as the big green ogre explores the site with none other than the big pink Energizer Bunny(R).

"We are extremely pleased to partner with DreamWorks to offer families across the country the opportunity to discover 'Far Far Away' with us," said Betsy Laakko, director of marketing for Energizer. "We know that both children and adults will be watching this amazing film and to provide them an opportunity to win a trip 'Far Far Away' will make the experience keep going beyond the theater seats."

Shrek and Energizer Bunny fans can visit Energizer's Shrek micro site at http://www.energizer.com/shrek now to enter the "Shrek Far Far Away" Sweepstakes. While online, users can view the exclusive Energizer commercial where the Energizer Bunny has his own fun with Shrek in "Far Far Away", and the Shrek the Third trailer. Kids and parents can download Shrek coloring pages and screensavers and play an online demonstration of the new Shrek DVD game. These kid-friendly components -- along with the official contest rules -- can all be found now at http://www.energizer.com/shrek.

As part of Energizer's ongoing relationship with DreamWorks, the battery-maker will offer additional unique experiences for Shrek fans at the release of the DVD later this year and in support of additional DreamWorks films.
