Celebrities to Visit Eastern High School Band in Preparation for National Memorial Day Parade
James McEachin and Pat Boone to 'jam' with local DC High School Marching Band in Parade Rehearsal

WASHINGTON, May 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- DC's own Eastern High School Band will lead the National Memorial Day Parade down Constitution Avenue at 2 p.m. on Monday -- but will have special visitors at their Friday band rehearsal at 1:30. Singer Pat Boone, Billboard Magazine's #10 rock recording artist in history, and actor James McEachin, most noted as the first African American man to have his own show on NBC "Tenafly" and as Lieutenant Brock in the Perry Mason movie series, will also take part in the parade. McEachin has also been awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart for his service during the Korean War.
