Public Media Works Inc. Announces Completion and Release of its First Full Length Feature Film 'Carpool Guy'

Film to Premier on October 11th and be Released for Distribution on October 18th

Company Begins Pre-Production on Next Project Utilizing its Unique Business Model

VAN NUYS, Calif., Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Public Media Works, Inc. ("PMWI" or the "Company") (BULLETIN BOARD: PMWI) announced the completion of its first full length feature film entitled "Carpool Guy." The film stars 10 of Daytime Television's most recognizable names and is targeted to appeal to the over 300 million fans who watch U.S. Soap Operas daily around the world.

The million dollar marketing campaign for the film will begin with a World Premier on October 11, 2005 at the Arclight Theaters in Hollywood, California, home of the world famous Cinerama Dome. Attendees at the World Premier are expected to include all of the film's stars and many of the other 50 superstars of Daytime Television who have been invited. More than 60 news and media outlets from across the country are also invited to the event.

The film is scheduled to be released on October 18, 2005. The film will initially be available for purchase online through the film's website, www.carpoolguy.com, and at Amazon.com, as well as through phone orders. The film release will be supported by a 4 month, intensive marketing campaign. The marketing campaign will feature a "Premier Tour" across the country in which the film's stars will attend "mini-World Premiers" in various U.S. cities. These cities have been selected for the highest demographics for Soap Opera fans in general, and the stars of the film. These events will be hosted in approximately 12 cities at 24 separate venues. The Company also intends to market the film through traditional methods of media buys on television, the internet and print ads, as well as through retail outlets.

"Carpool Guy is the first of many planned projects which will utilize our unique business model of developing projects for specific fan based audiences. The Company has leaped many hurdles to emerge from the field and find its niche in the entertainment market. The film is a testament to the dedication of all who have contributed since the Company's inception. I am extremely proud of the film and everyone who is a part of it," said Company founder and President, Corbin Bernsen.

The film is being marketed and distributed by LA Ideas, Inc., a marketing and distribution company based in Los Angeles. LA Ideas has committed $1.2 million dollars for the film's marketing campaign. The Company selected LA Ideas because of their understanding of the Company's unique business model and desire to partner with a distributor which recognized the value of fan based audiences. "What's going to be interesting for soap fans will be seeing the actors playing different kinds of roles," says L.A. Ideas CEO Kyle Borg, "A lot of these actors have not been together in any production. For the 300 million passionate fans of daytime television worldwide, this is the equivalent of putting every top Hollywood star in one movie."

In anticipation of the positive reaction to "Carpool Guy" and its distribution potential, the Company has stepped up its development and pre-production activities on a follow up film entitled "3 DAY TEST" which will employ the same business model in both production and distribution. The Company plans to have "3 DAY TEST" completed in time for release by Christmas of 2006. The Company has completed a working draft of the script and attached a major talent from "The Young and Restless" soap opera to star in the film. Both Corbin Bernsen and his mother, Jeanne Cooper of "The Young and Restless," are expected to have smaller roles in the film.

The Company is also in early stage development of a film outside of the Soap Opera fan base and intended to appeal to the equally dedicated Sci-Fi/Star Trek fan base.
