The White House Christmas 2005 and All Out Christmas Among Specials Spotlighting Elegant and Outrageous Holiday Style

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- HGTV will unwrap six new holiday specials along with many returning favorites beginning November 2005. The special programming line up is designed to delight viewers and offer them the hottest gift ideas and insights on seasonal decorating and design. HGTV also will take an unparalleled behind-the-scenes look at holiday decor from New York City's famous store fronts on Fifth Avenue to the White House.

The highlight of the season comes when HGTV presents the home of the first family in The White House Christmas 2005 on Wednesday, December 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Other holiday specials on the network will highlight everything from the elegant window displays designed for Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Harrod's in Holiday Windows 2005 to the excessively ornate and outrageous decorations on front lawns across America in All Out Christmas. In addition, Holiday Gifts 2005 will offer viewers the year's hottest gift ideas while Decorating Cents: 100 Holiday Ideas Under $100 will provide practical tips for affordable holiday decor. Warm Weather, White Christmas removes the winter chill to show viewers how sunny spots such as Honolulu, Phoenix and Las Vegas put their own spin on snowy traditions.

In addition, holiday-themed episodes of HGTV's most popular shows, including Design on a Dime, Mission: Organization and I Want That! will inspire viewers with festive seasonal makeovers, organization and gift ideas.
