WHAT: HBO and Cox Communications present the Virginia Premiere of "DARE TO DREAM: THE STORY OF THE U.S. WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM," the compelling new HBO Sports documentary that explores the story of a group of female athletes who reshaped the American sports landscape. The story of the U.S. women's soccer team was an 18-year journey and is one of the great untold sports stories of the 20th century. The story starts quietly in the 1980s when a group of young women battle individually to establish themselves as high school and U.S. National Team soccer players and before its ending in 2004, results in a remarkable string of events and accomplishments, including two gold medal triumphs at the Olympic Games, two World Cup titles and redefining the access and opportunities for young women in team sports in this country.
