Circle R Media Wins Five Telly Awards for Client Video Presentations; Company Also Awarded Three 'Certificates for Creative Excellence'
FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Five Telly Awards recently were presented to Circle R Media -- significant because the Telly is the premiere international prize honoring outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs. Circle R Media became an independent production facility earlier this year when it announced the opening of its new, 48,000-square-foot video, film and audio production facility in Fort Worth. The company also was awarded three "Certificates for Creative Excellence" by the U.S. International Film and Video Festival.
"We're very proud that Circle R Media's seven Telly entries produced five awards including two silver and three bronze trophies," said Tim Davis, CRM's chief operating officer. "That's a very high entry-to-award ratio. Historically, only 7-10 percent of Telly Award entrants win Silver Awards, and 18-25 percent receive Bronze Awards. This year, more than 12,500 entries were received by the Telly Awards Committee, and some companies submitted more than 100 entries."
Circle R Media (CRM) received Telly Awards for a variety of client video projects including:
* Silver Award: "History," a 30-second TV advertisement that displayed a garment manufacturer's clothing through several decades. (Directed by CRM's Steve Dunning.) * Silver Award: "Come Together -- XMODS," an in-theater commercial featuring young adults racing customizable radio-controlled cars. (Produced by CRM's Steve Dunning.) * Bronze Award: "Big Trouble" -- Trout Fishing in America/Monster Cable, a video used to train a corporation's 35,000 managers and associates at workshops across the U.S. (Directed by CRM's Christopher Bigbie.) * Bronze Award: "Home Entertainment Accessories," a 60-second commercial created for a client's in-store television network and shown in more than 7,000 stores nationwide. (Produced by CRM's Christopher Bigbie.) * Bronze Award: "Monster Trucks -- ZipZaps," a 30-second TV commercial that focuses on young boys playing with a company's line of monster trucks. (Produced by CRM's Steve Dunning.)
In addition to CRM winning five Telly Awards, company producer Christopher Bigbie recently received three "Certificates for Creative Excellence" from the U.S. International Film and Video Festival. Bigbie was cited for his creative production work on three client presentations: "Workplace Transitions," a humorous corporate video designed to help employees transition from an old headquarters facility to new offices; and two videos used in a corporation's employee awards ceremonies.
