Special half-time performance by new recording sensation B5. This exciting group of brothers from Atlanta (Dustin 17, Kelly 16, Patrick 14, Carnell 13, and Bryan 10) have been described as a modern day Jackson 5.
WHAT: Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan's (RIM) 4th Annual Celebrity Wheelchair Basketball Game. Watch as your favorite radio and television personalities compete against some of Detroit's greatest sports legends representing the Detroit Shock, Pistons, Red Wings, Tigers and Lions. Players will compete in wheelchairs along with RIM's award-winning wheelchair basketball team, the Detroit Diehards.
WHEN: Thursday, September 22, 2005. Tip-off at 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: U of D Mercy's Calihan Hall. Tickets are $8 and available day of the game at the box office inside Calihan Hall or by calling 313-745-9817.
WHY: All proceeds from the event support RIM's SportsAbility program, which provides persons with disabilities the opportunity to participate in competitive and recreational sports.
