NextMedia Appoints John Leathers as General Manager of Newly Acquired San Jose, California Radio Stations
DENVER, Aug. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- NextMedia Group, Inc. announced today that John Leathers has been appointed General Manager for the Company's radio stations, KEZR-FM and KBAY-FM, serving the San Jose, California market. In this role, Mr. Leathers will oversee all programming and promotional operations for NextMedia's newly acquired radio stations.

John Leathers brings 10 years of radio sales management experience to NextMedia. For the past three years, Mr. Leathers has served as a Senior General Sales Manager at Bonneville Radio, where he was successful in increasing national/local sales in San Francisco and creating a more cluster-focused sales organization. Previously, he served as Director of Sales for Clear Channel Radio serving San Francisco/San Jose, CA, were he managed the complete sales effort of five top Bay Area radio properties. Earlier in his career, Mr. Leathers served in various sales roles at radio stations in San Francisco, San Jose and Portland, Oregon. He received a Bachelors of Art in Communications Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1989.
