WHAT: BET will again honor outstanding achievement in comedic film, television and stand-up performance across 17 categories with the star-studded return of the BET COMEDY AWARDS telecast from the Pasadena Civic Center. Veteran comedian and actor Steve Harvey returns as host of the show -- joined by the most hilarious entertainers in the business, including Martin Lawrence, recipient of the 2005 BET Comedy Icon Award. The show format includes side splitting on-stage routines and sketches, stand-up turns by the industry's hottest comics and electrifying musical performances.
