Pocket Tunes Deluxe Version 3.1 Now Plays Songs from Leading Online Music Stores and Services
MILLIS, Mass., July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- NormSoft, Inc. today announced the availability of Version 3.1 of its award winning audio player, Pocket Tunes(TM) Deluxe. This most recent version allows the playback of music purchased from online music stores as well as downloads from portable music subscription services like RealNetworks'(R) Rhapsody(R) To Go, Napster's(R) Napster To Go(TM) and Yahoo's Yahoo!(R) Music Unlimited.
This new Pocket Tunes Deluxe version extends the offerings of online music stores and services to the following Palm(R) portable devices: Treo(TM) 650 smartphone; LifeDrive(TM) mobile manager; and Zire(TM) 31, Zire 72, Tungsten(TM) C, Tungsten T, Tungsten T2, Tungsten T3, Tungsten T5, and Tungsten E2 handhelds.(1)
With subscription services like Rhapsody To Go, Napster To Go and Yahoo! Music Unlimited, users have access to over a million songs that they can take with them on their portable Palm device at no extra charge using Pocket Tunes Deluxe. Subscribers can load and reload their Palm portable device as often as they like with new songs. In addition, Pocket Tunes Deluxe also enables Palm customers to play and enjoy permanent music downloads purchased from online music stores.
Pocket Tunes Deluxe Version 3.1 will support the playback of content from online music providers that use Microsoft's Windows Media 10 digital rights management (DRM) for delivering content for playback on portable devices. This gives Palm device owners with Pocket Tunes Deluxe the ability to choose from a wide selection of online music stores and services.
