XM Expands Coverage of 'LIVE 8' Concerts to Seven Dedicated XM Channels and More Than 55 Hours of Live Performances From Around the World

London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Philadelphia and Toronto Performances to be Broadcast on Dedicated XM Channels

WASHINGTON, June 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- XM Satellite Radio, the nation's leading satellite radio company with more than 4 million subscribers, will expand its broadcast coverage of the LIVE 8 concerts to include every artist and every performance live from London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Philadelphia, and Barrie (Toronto). Offering the most comprehensive radio broadcast coverage with more than 55 hours of performances, XM will dedicate seven channels to the LIVE 8 performances on July 2 -- one for each city, plus an anchor channel that will cut to live performances in different cities around the globe. XM on-air hosts will be on location at various LIVE 8 concert sites.

XM's exclusive satellite radio broadcasts of LIVE 8 will begin at 9 a.m. ET on July 2. Performances can be heard on the following XM channels:
