Highly Lauded UK Band 'Embrace' to Kick Off Virgin Megastores In-Store Summer

Who: Virgin Megastores continues their commitment to introduce new music directly to their customers by creating the perfect venue for both the musician and the music fan. Bubbling under band, Embrace, will launch Virgin's in-store summer concert campaign in three Virgin Megastores nationwide. They will finish off their appearances with a special in-store interview with DJ Madrid plus a meet and greet for their fans where they will sign copies of their latest CD: Out Of Nothing, the band's fourth album (hailed as "Monumental" by Q Magazine and "Stirring and affecting" by Time Out), at the Virgin Megastore, Chicago.

What: Brit Award "Best New Band" nominee, Embrace, currently on tour promoting their latest release, Out Of Nothing (Lava Records), will be interviewed by in-store DJ Madrid and will meet and greet their fans and sign copies of their latest release at the Virgin Megastore, Chicago. Aided by Coldplay's Chris Martin on the first single "Gravity", the band has consolidated all they are good at and have created an album full of unforgettable songs.

BACKGROUND: Their newest album, Out Of Nothing, released in the UK September 2004, shot to number 1 in the charts and spawned three top 20 singles and two sold out tours in the UK. Now Virgin is proud to introduce Embrace to U.S. Megastore customers.
