Vertasent Names Bruce Bradley as VP Product and Market Management

COLMAR, Pa., June 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Vertasent LLC, a company providing headend and resource management software for On-Demand television, today announced the addition of cable TV industry veteran Bruce Bradley to its executive management team.

Bradley, who has been named Executive Vice President, Product and Market Management, will be responsible for product management, marketing and business development working with both cable operators and partners to develop the next generation of open, On-Demand television solutions.

Vertasent products, including the first-to-market Edge Resource Manager, work to open today's closed, On-Demand and high speed data platforms. Its products allow multiple vendors of servers and network equipment to coexist in once closed and proprietary systems. Vertasent's innovative products are creating opportunities for cable operators to "mix and match" best of breed components in their networks.

Most recently vice president of technology for Sedna, a patent portfolio company, owned by Comcast, Cox and Charter, Bradley was previously vice president product management at Concurrent Computer's VOD division for five years. Bradley came to Concurrent through its acquisition of Vivid Technology, where he was vice president of marketing. Prior to Vivid, Bradley spent several years at Motorola. A graduate in Electrical Engineering, he also earned his MBA, both from Villanova University.
