Palace Sports and Entertainment and Hillside Productions Announce 2005 Schedule for Jerome-Duncan Ford Theatre Presented by Fifth Third Bank

Tickets on Sale Monday for All Shows Not Previously on Sale

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Palace Sports and Entertainment (PS&E) and Hillside Productions (Hillside) announce the 2005 schedule for Jerome-Duncan Ford Theatre.

The season will be the first for guests to enjoy the venue's newly- constructed roof, which will protect those seated in the pavilion from the elements, and it will improve the acoustics in the venue while combining with a sound-absorbing wall at the top of the lawn seating area to contain more of the audio within the grounds. These are the latest in the more than $20 million in physical enhancements since 2000, highlighted by new concessions areas and concourse, new pavilion seating and new restrooms.

The 2005 Jerome-Duncan Ford Theatre line-up (see attached schedule) at the 7,000-seat outdoor amphitheatre is the first under the collaborative booking and marketing efforts of PS&E and Hillside. More events will be added as the summer progresses.

The schedule includes the venue's widest variety of events ever, with some of the top names in rock, pop, country, comedy, R&B, adult contemporary, jazz, along with stage productions and children's entertainment.

Tickets for all shows not currently on sale will go on sale this Monday, June 6 at 10 a.m. at Palacenet.com, The Palace, Jerome-Duncan Ford Theatre and DTE Energy Music Theatre Box Offices and all Ticketmaster centers (with the exception of the shows noted in attached schedule).

Tickets may also be charged by phone to American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard by calling 248/645-6666.

"We think we have put together an appealing schedule of events at Jerome- Duncan Ford Theatre, with something for everyone, just as we have done over the years at DTE Energy Music Theatre and Meadow Brook Music Festival," said Tom Wilson, President and CEO of PS&E. "The addition of the pavilion roof is an exciting development this summer, one which will enhance the concert-going experience for our guests and make it a more viable facility for booking major acts."

PS&E ownership includes The Palace and DTE Energy Music Theatre. The organization also manages Meadow Brook Music Festival on the campus of Oakland University. Combined, PS&E's Michigan venues average 300 events and 3.5 million guests annually. The organization is listed as the ninth largest concert promoter in the world.

The Palace has been voted Arena of the Year eight times by Performance magazine and twice by Pollstar magazine and is listed annually among North America's top-grossing arenas. Voted "Best Outdoor Concert Venue" in Pollstar's 2000 Readers' Poll, DTE Energy Music Theatre has been listed as the nation's most attended amphitheater by Amusement Business/Billboard each of the 14 years of PS&E ownership.

PS&E also owns the leasehold rights to the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa, Florida, a 1999 and 2004 recipient of the Prime Site Award by Facilities & Event Management magazine and one of North America's top-grossing arenas annually.

Freedom Hill County Park hosts all types of public and private events all year round on its 100 acres of parkland. Summer seasons usually include a variety of ethnic festivals, car and motorcycle shows, church festivals, Fourth of July fireworks, concerts, pet shows, dances and Wednesday Outdoor Markets. Organizations, businesses and families can rent the grounds for private or public events. Call 586/979-7010 or visit online http://www.freedomhillcountypark.com/ for more details.
