ESCONDIDO, Calif., June 13 /PRNewswire/ Long Road Entertainment, Inc. (Pink Sheets: LREN), a Drive-in movie theater and entertainment company unveils its aggressive plan to build multiple drive-ins over the next 5 years.
The development team of Long Road Entertainment, with 43 years experience in the operation and development of drive-in movie theatres, plan to roll out an expansion plan building on the growing pace of drive-ins being built throughout U.S, Canada and the World.
The drive-in is coming back with a vengeance and they are better than ever!
Today's modern drive-in theatre is growing increasingly in popularity because it is a fun, affordable night out for the whole family. The technology is better than ever with the sound coming through your own car's sound system via FM radio and better projection picture quality on a 70-foot wide screen. All while sitting in your own private space.
According to the United Drive-In Theatre Owners Association, since 2000, 21 new drive-ins were opened or are currently under construction within the United States, with over 30 that were previously closed having been reopened. The phenomenon is worldwide as well, with new drive-ins being built in China, Russia, Indonesia and Canada.
Many of the currently operating drive-ins are expected to expand in the next year. Business Trend Analysts, Inc. is reporting that the number of screens per drive-in theatre is expected to reach an average of 3 screens per drive-in by 2006.
Long Road Entertainment, "LREN" has been established to operate as a holding company for companies that are involved in the theatre, motion picture and entertainment industry. Specifically, LREN plans to capitalize on its management teams' 43 years of experience in the building and operating of drive-in movie theatres to reintroduce North American movie goers to a modern drive-in theatre experience.
