Target Racing Reveals the Surprise Behind the Bullseye

Stuntmen Will Rappel Down to a Target Racecar Affixed to the Indiana Square Building

INDIANAPOLIS, May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- What: Target Chip Ganassi Racing drivers Scott Dixon, Ryan Briscoe and Darren Manning will help kick off the 500 Festival Community Day in Indianapolis with a unique celebration of the Indianapolis 500. At 7:35 a.m., a team of stuntmen will "vertical walk" down to a suspended Target racecar at the Indiana Square Building at the 21st floor.

Who: Target Chip Ganassi Racing drivers Scott Dixon, Ryan Briscoe and Darren Manning will be on-site and available for interviews in the courtyard adjacent to the Indiana Square Building.

When/ Where: Wednesday, May 25 Indiana Square Building 7:35 a.m. 211 N. Pennsylvania St. Indianapolis, Ind.

Summary: The event will take place at 7:35 a.m. with a performance by stuntmen from the action marketing agency Jochen Schweizer. The stuntmen will perform their "vertical catwalk" Wednesday at 7:35 a.m., 12 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The car remains affixed to the Indiana Square Building through Sunday, May 29. The Indiana Square Building is located on the Indianapolis 500 parade route, which takes place on Saturday, May 28 from noon to 2 p.m.

The prominent event is a celebration of the 89th running of the Indianapolis 500. The event also is in conjunction with the WFBQ-FM radio promotion and the 500 Festival that will award one lucky fan and guest a trip to the Derek Daly Performance Driving Academy in Las Vegas.
