Sir Ivan the 'Peaceman' to be Featured in TV Shows in Europe and USA in June

NEW YORK, May 31/PRNewswire/ --

- Europe - Sir Ivan To Star in the finale of 'Bart In the States' on VTM in Belgium

- United States - Sir Ivan's Castle featured on Travel Channel's Grand Castles of America

One of America's most colorful characters -- recording artist, peace advocate and New York personality, Ivan Wilzig (a.k.a. Sir Ivan) will be the subject of two separate television features next month.

Billionaire banker turned techno music performer -- Sir Ivan -- will be featured in the final episode of Belgium's most watched news and entertainment television show "Bart In the States" on June 2nd at 10.05pm (local time). In addition, he and his home in the Hamptons, Sir Ivan's Castle, will be the feature focus of the Travel Channel's upcoming program Grand Castles of America, airing Sunday, June 12 at 9.00pm (EDT) in the United States. Formerly known as Wilzig Castle, the residence is one of the world's most famous private homes and the scene of some of the Hamptons' most lavish and talked about parties.

Built in 1997 and perched on top of the most beautiful hills of Water Mill in Southampton NY, Sir Ivan's Castle is a 15,000 square foot fairytale come to life. With turrets, multiple balconies and a Grand Hall, the castle features two Master Suites in separate towers, ten bathrooms, fully-equipped spa, gymnasium, billiard and game rooms, themed guest bedrooms (Roman, Egyptian and Balinese), Versace-inspired infinity pool, tennis court, and Olympic-size sand volleyball court. Further enhancements will include an 8 foot stone waterfall leading into a moat, a drawbridge as well as a regulation NBA basketball court.

"I've always been a person who appreciates one-of-a-kind things, so, naturally, I wanted to build a one-of-a-kind home. In the same way a piece of art should be seen by the public, this home should not be locked behind gates. The greatest pleasure I have is sharing the Castle with as many people as possible. This is not just an architectural structure -- this is a home full of music, energy and life," says Sir Ivan.

Grand Castles of America contains never seen before footage of Sir Ivan's live performance of his hit single "Peace on Earth," at his launch party in 2004.

Banker-turned-singer, Sir Ivan is the son of Auschwitz survivor, legendary banker and philanthropist Siggi B. Wilzig. In 2000, after two and a half decades working up to the highest corporate ranks in his family's multi-billion dollar banking business, Sir Ivan gave it all up to pursue a career in music. Following in his father's philanthropic footsteps, Sir Ivan has adopted a super-hero persona known as "Peaceman" to generate funds for humanitarian causes. Sir Ivan's first single, a remake of John Lennon's classic "Imagine," became an instant chart-topping, club favorite and went on to become a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Club Play Chart. His follow-up single, a remake of the 1967 Scott McKenzie hit "San Francisco" ("Wear Some Flowers in Your Hair") also proved a huge success and reached number 7 on the Billboard Singles Sales Chart.

The singer's current single, "Peace on Earth," on Artemis Records, is continuing his winning streak, hitting number 2 on the UK's DMC World Club Chart and proving a favorite in clubs from London to Berlin to Ibiza.
