Summer Travel to Be Curtailed by 43.5% of Americans as 71.3% Say High Gas Prices Impacting Quality of Life
According to a national poll conducted by Sacred Heart University, 71 point 3 percent nationwide said that higher gas prices are very seriously or somewhat impacting their quality of life. Another 28 point 3 percent suggested the higher prices were not impacting their quality of life. And, while 50 point 5 percent of those surveyed say their summer travel plans will not be slowed as a result of increased gas prices, 43 point 5 percent said they will. Some, 6 point 0, were unsure.

Majority of Parents Say They Limit Children's Access to Mature-Rated Video Games
A majority of America's parents say they "never" allow their children to play M (Mature) rated computer and video games, according to a recent survey conducted by Peter D. Hart Research Associates commissioned by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. The M (Mature) rating is assigned by the E-S-R-B to indicate that a game may be suitable for ages 17 and older. According to the nation-wide telephone survey of 500 parents of children age three to seventeen, 53 percent of parents say they "never" allow their kids to play M-rated games, an additional 37 percent say they "sometimes allow" their children to play M-rated games and 8 percent said they "generally allow" their children to play M-rated games. Parents of children under the age of 13 are almost twice as likely to "never" allow their children to play an M-rated game.

Goo Goo Dolls Headline SIRIUS BMW Channel 18-Hour Marathon Broadcast on May 6th
Rock sensation the Goo Goo Dolls will headline an unprecedented 18-hour marathon of unique programming on a special SIRIUS Satellite Radio B-M-W channel. Preceding the Goo Goo Dolls live performance, to be broadcast from Los Angeles, the 18-hour marathon will showcase dozens of the best driving songs of all time and a series of "travelogues," vignettes from the road gathered during a historic grassroots 44-day cross country tour dubbed "3 Across America."
