WHAT: ADAM SANDLER HAND AND FOOTPRINTS CEREMONY Adam Sandler, the renowned comedian and star of "The Longest Yard," opening in theaters nationwide on May 27th, will be immortalized in a Hollywood landmark when he places his hands and

footprints in cement in the forecourt of the world-famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

WHERE: Grauman's Chinese Theatre Forecourt 6925 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood

WHO: Adam Sandler, star of this summer's "The Longest Yard," as well as "50 First Dates," "Anger Management," "Mr. Deeds," "Big Daddy," "The Waterboy," "The Wedding Singer," "Happy Gilmore," and "Billy Madison." Sandler's lifetime domestic box-office gross exceeds $1 billion. Before becoming one of the country's biggest box-office stars, Sandler starred for four seasons on "Saturday Night Live."

Honorary Mayor of Hollywood Johnny Grant will emcee the event. Featured speakers will include Rob Schneider, Judy Sandler (Mr. Sandler's mother), and Allen Covert, one of Adam's partners at Happy Madison productions.
