Country Music Legend Joins 'Justice Sunday'

John Conlee to Appear on Justice Sunday Stage April 24th

Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky and FRC Action welcomes Kentucky's own country music superstar John Conlee to "Justice Sunday - Stopping the Filibuster Against People of Faith" this Sunday, April 24. The program will broadcast live in churches across the nation in addition to being carried on hundreds of radio stations.

Family Research Council Action President Tony Perkins explains why "Justice Sunday" is so important to America's future. "Our goal is to reach as many people as possible and to engage values voters in the all-important issue of reining in our out-of-control courts and putting a halt to the use of filibusters against people of faith."

Musical entertainment will be provided by Grand Ole Opry star and country music legend, John Conlee during the simulcast and he is scheduled to close the event with a performance of his current single, "They also Serve," his tribute to the family and friends of U.S. troops.

Conlee says that he is proud to be included in this historic gathering and adds that he is "pleased to be a small part of an event with hopes to educate people of faith and others in the country, about the importance of a judiciary which upholds the constitution instead of legislating from the bench. I think it's another key part of the battle to strengthen the family in America!"
