On Saturday Meet America's Most Popular Weatherman Al Roker from The NBC 'Today' Show

BALA CYNWYD, Pa., March 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Commit to be fit at the 9th annual NBC 10 Fit Fest that will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 9th & 10th, 10 AM to 5 PM, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. If you've attended Fit Fest before, or if you're stopping by for the first time, this FREE two-day, fun-filled event is sure to deliver a great time for the entire family!

Fit Fest offers fitness activities for every age group. Young people will enjoy "Peanut Butter," a popular youth fitness instructor, who performs high- energy, interactive exercise routines. For those of you who are "young at heart" there will be low-impact aerobics classes, and yoga and ballroom dancing will be provided at the ever-popular "Senior Pavilion." In addition, play virtual golf or try scaling the rock-climbing wall.

NBC 10's Fit Fest doesn't stop with all the sporting activities and fitness demonstrations. As you stroll through the Market Place, check out the latest in alternative therapy. You'll also be able to receive free medical screenings, sample healthy food dishes, and take home a wealth of literature and information from a variety of experts.

Meet NBC 10's Medical Reporter Cherie Bank, Meteorologist Amy Freeze, and Reporter Harry Hairston, as well as other members of the NBC 10 News Team. On Saturday, special guests include NBC's "Today" Show weathercaster Al Roker, and from the new hit NBC reality show "The Biggest Loser" former contestant Kelly Minner. On Sunday, come out and meet Houston from the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and Philadelphia Eagle Alonzo Ephraim.

On Saturday, GlaxoSmithKline will sponsor NFL running back Jerome "The Bus" Bettis of the Pittsburgh Steelers, who champions the cure for asthma.
