Mitsubishi Motors North America Enters Into Agreement With SIRIUS Satellite Radio

SIRIUS First Available as Factory Installed Equipment on All-New 2006 Raider

NEW YORK and CYPRESS, Calif., March 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mitsubishi Motors North America today announced an exclusive agreement with SIRIUS Satellite Radio (NASDAQ:SIRI) to offer satellite radio as a factory-installed option in various Mitsubishi models.

The first SIRIUS factory-installed option will appear in the 2006 Mitsubishi Raider. The midsize truck, which was recently unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, will be available in dealer showrooms in the fall of 2005.

SIRIUS will come standard with the Mitsubishi Motors' Premium Audio System package. All 2006 and 2007 model year SIRIUS-equipped vehicles will include a six-month, pre-paid subscription service and free activation.

Mitsubishi drivers will be able to enjoy more than 120 channels of digital-quality programming including 65 channels of commercial-free music, plus more than 55 channels of news, weather, traffic, information, comedy entertainment and sports, such as the entire NFL live "play-by-play" game lineup; NBA games and college sports from the top schools in the country.
