Sundance Channel and TVN Entertainment Offer 'Sundance Film Festival Dailies' On Demand Daily Show Recaps Excitement of World Famous Film Festival via 'TVNow' Service BURBANK, Calif., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- TVN Entertainment, the leading provider of on demand television programming, management and delivery solutions, announced today that Sundance Channel will provide encore presentations of "Festival Dailies" for the Video On Demand (VOD) platform exclusively via TVN's "TVNow" rapid turnaround service. "Festival Dailies" is Sundance Channel's coverage of the 2005 Sundance Film Festival, a daily program produced onsite at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. "Festival Dailies" will be hosted by Jay Mohr and will report on the films and filmmakers making news at this year's Sundance Film Festival, providing TV viewers with an immediate sense of the Sundance Film Festival experience. From January 24-28 at 9:00pm, "Festival Dailies" airs as a half-hour program; on January 29th at 9:00pm "Festival Dailies" will be an hour wrap-up that will include an announcement of the 2005 Festival winners. Beginning on January 25, and running until March 1st, Sundance Channel will make available daily episodes of "Festival Dailies" as encore presentations on demand. The programs will be encoded and distributed to cable operators nationally, exclusively via TVN's "TVNow" service, for availability within hours of editing the footage. Sundance Channel recently offered encore presentations of "The Al Franken Show" using the "TVNow" service and extended its existing relationship with TVN through January 2006.
