MediaSpan Group Names Mark Zagorski Chief Marketing Officer Company Adds Further Depth to Executive Management Team and Strengthens Network Profile With Advertisers and Media Companies NEW YORK, Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- MediaSpan Group, (http://www.mediaspangroup.com/) a diversified media technology company delivering solutions that bridge offline and online business functions for over 4,500 traditional media customers, announced today that Mark Zagorski, former President of WorldNow, with over 12 years of marketing experience focused on the media technology sector, has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer. This is a newly created position. Mr. Zagorski, 36, will report to Chief Executive Officer, F.R. Campagnoni, and will be based in New York City. Mr. Zagorski will be responsible for all strategic marketing programs for MediaSpan's Harris & Baseview and First Media Works divisions, as well as corporate marketing strategy, promotional, and sales activity for future MediaSpan acquisitions. "In addition to helping promote and market our individual brands, Mark will help the marketplace better understand the overall mission and direction of MediaSpan," says Mr. Campagnoni. Mr. Zagorski was with WorldNow, a technology and ad network for local television websites, where he held various executive level positions since 1999, and was most recently President of the company. Prior to that, Mr. Zagorski worked at Interactive pioneer Modem Media where he was a Group Account Director working with clients such as IBM, JP Morgan Chase and MCI. Mr. Zagorski received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Gannon University (where he was named 2004's Distinguished Young Alumni) and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Rochester's William E. Simon School of Business. Mr. Zagorski is an active multimedia public speaker and commentator with national broadcast appearances and featured articles in popular media ranging from CBS MarketWatch and CNN to MediaPost and FastCompany.
