GlobalTouch Telecom Chooses Telco Systems' Access211 VoIP Device for SIPTalk

GlobalTouch Telecom Chooses Telco Systems' Access211 VoIP Device for SIPTalk LONDON, January 27/PRNewswire/ -- GlobalTouch Telecom, Inc. today announced it has selected Telco Systems' Access211 analog telephone adapter (ATA) for its SIPTalk Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calling service. GlobalTouch CEO, Greg Welch, says, "The Access211 is the perfect device for our SIPTalk customers because it combines a VoIP ATA with built-in router and life line POTS support, all into one device. Life Line POTS support allows the customer the ability to utilize a standard phone line to access E911 service in the event of power or Internet outages." GlobalTouch said the Access211 provides its SIPTalk customers superior voice quality, as well as a rich package of features, including Internet faxing (T.38), and distinctive ringing. GlobalTouch's SIPTalk customers will find the Access211 device simple to connect, and because it doesn't require an external router, creates less clutter on the desk. GlobalTouch has initiated a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract with Telco Systems for their Access211 VoIP ATA. Telco Systems' Access211 VoIP ATA enables GlobalTouch SIPTalk subscribers to make and receive phone calls and faxes over broadband Internet connections using standard telephones and fax machines. Some of the Access211 features and capabilities that prompted GlobalTouch to select the advanced Telco Systems ATA include custom calling feature support such as distinctive ringing; T.38 Internet faxing; two telephone ports that concurrently support advanced compression technology for two different phone numbers; integrated routing, which eliminates the need for an external router; and advanced Quality of Service features such as traffic shaping, which prioritizes voice over data and contributes to the superior voice quality of the Access211. Traffic shaping is not available on any other consumer VoIP ATA. Larry Asten, Telco Systems' President, said: "We're impressed by GlobalTouch's innovative approach to the VoIP market and we anticipate a long mutually beneficial partnership as VoIP service continues to gain acceptance as a replacement to traditional phone service." GlobalTouch's SIPTalk offers a product line of VoIP packages that are some of the most competitive in the industry, starting with its new $9.95 per month plan which offers residential callers 200 minutes of calling anywhere in the United States and Canada. Other plans for the residence and small business start at just $14.95 per month. Plans for unlimited calling in the U.S. and Canada start at just $19.95 per month. All SIPTalk plans are feature rich and include GlobalTouch's amazingly low international rates.
