The All-New Black Oak Casino Main Gaming Floor Is Now Open! TUOLUMNE, Calif., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- All the excitement was at the All-New Black Oak Casino on Wednesday when the doors to the Gaming Floor of the Phase II were opened to guests for the first time. A private tribal ceremony was held prior to the casino doors opening. "This new facility truly exemplifies the vision of the Tribe," said Ron Patel, Casino Manager. "Not only does it offer gaming, starting Monday, January 24th guests can also enjoy the family entertainment floor on the first level. With family being a major pillar in the strength of the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians, this feature is extremely important to all of us." Following the private ceremony, a VIP party was hosted by The Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians, owners and operators of Black Oak Casino, and Black Oak Casino Management with an official ribbon cutting. Guests included the Yavapai Tribe of Arizona, VIP Players, Vendors, Construction Crew Members, Friends, Family, and Local Dignitaries. Over a thousand guests attended to commemorate this special occasion. Guests enjoyed an appetizer buffet, beverages and live entertainment in the new Willow Creek Lounge, the new 250-seat live entertainment area with a dance floor and gaming bar. Later in the evening, the general public was invited to the new facility to play their favorite games and enjoy the entertainment. The facility houses 940 slot machines featuring the latest in technology and themes, as well as 24 of the most popular live action table games, a 24-Hour buffet/cafe, a non- smoking gaming area with a non-smoking bar, and the Players Club. Starting Monday, January 24th, guests will also have access to the first floor of the casino featuring 53,000 square feet of fun for families and other fun-minded guests. The amenities include a sports bar, a 24-lane Brunswick bowling alley and pro shop, an arcade, and a family restaurant. Scheduled to open in February, the third floor will feature Seven Sisters, a specialty-dining restaurant planned to seat approximately 80 guests.
