Lost Highway Receives 10 Grammy Nominations Nominees Include Ryan Adams, Johnny Cash, Elvis Costello, Lyle Lovett, Willie Nelson And First-Timer Tift Merritt NASHVILLE, Tenn., Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Lost Highway Records received 10 nominations for the 47th Annual Grammy Awards to be held in Los Angeles on February 13. First-time nominee Tift Merritt received the nomination for Best Country Album for her critically acclaimed second release "Tambourine." Elvis Costello's highly-praised album "The Delivery Man" received two nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal (for the track "Monkey To Man"). Ryan Adams was nominated for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance for his haunting rendition of the Oasis hit "Wonderwall." Country legend Willie Nelson received a nomination for Best Country Collaboration With Vocals for "Pancho & Lefty," recorded live with Merle Haggard and Toby Keith from the album "Willie Nelson & Friends: Outlaws & Angels." Lyle Lovett's "In My Own Mind," from his acclaimed CD "My Baby Don't Tolerate" (Curb/Lost Highway), was nominated for Best Male Country Vocal Performance. The legendary Johnny Cash received a nomination for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal for his version of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song," which was recorded with the late, great Joe Strummer and appeared on Cash's "Unearthed" (American Recordings/Lost Highway) boxed set. "Unearthed" received two more nominations for Best Historical Album and Best Boxed Or Special Limited Edition Package. "Night Train To Nashville: Music City Rhythm & Blues, 1945-1970" (CMF/Lost Highway) also received a nomination for Best Historical Album for its important documentation of the little known R&B scene that thrived in Music City post WWII. Since its inception in 2001, Lost Highway has garnered a total of 43 Grammy Award nominations.
